Founded in 1821, Ada lies 12 miles east of Grand Rapids, near the Grand and Thornapple Rivers, and is located just off M-21. The budding, progressive business culture meshes flawlessly with the town’s natural beauty and landscape. Ada Township is located in the center of several very good school districts. Forest Hills Public School District includes Forest Hills Central, Forest Hills Northern, and Forest Hills Eastern. There is also the Kent Intermediate School District, Kent Career Technical Center, Lowell Public Schools, and Northview Public Schools.
